I just wanted to say "Thanks" to everybody for the celebration. My crew really enjoyed it. Maybe we missed the opportunity to voice our gratitude, but I am grateful nevertheless...
I'm grateful for the men who are my brothers.
I'm grateful for the women that have married into and become part of our family.
I'm grateful for all of the children born into our clan (even though they had no choice).
I'm grateful that we all want to be family.
I'm grateful we celebrated at the house on Savannah, even though it wasn't the same.
I'm grateful it was a "Rogers" experience (stove fire, clogged drain, and lost tables--oh my!).
I'm grateful for the parents that loved us.
Thanks be to God for "new mercies" morning by morning.
